... we're seeing some beautiful days in our area...and it's a great time to plant a garden. that's exactly what students at islands high school did tuesday morning. the garden is the result of the school winning the burpee home garden's "i can grow" award. the students will gain gardening experiences and learn about growing their own food, teamwork, and nutrition. as part of winning the contest, the school also receives 25-hundred dollars in garden supplies from burpee home gardens. ...
